Saints of War Broken Wings review

 

Broken Wings starts with a cool guitar riff which sounds even bigger when the drums and second guitar come in. The lead guitar goes from being panned from the left to the middle when the other instruments come in, this is a nice touch and helps add depth. In my opinion the bass could have been a touch louder in parts of the song, having said that, the over all mix of the song is good. The song features a catchy chorus which is easy to sing along to, this would make it an ideal single. Throughout the song there is nice guitar work, this includes riffs and a tasty solo. The singer has a nice tone to his voice and delivers the song very well. Broken Wings has a great ending, which is a welcome change to the fade out that most bands go for.
